Chap 2 is a primer on 1940s genetics, which holds up very well. A brief discussion of how DNA has too few atoms to meet the statistical accuracy of the physical laws described in Chap 1. I suspect this topic will be treated more fully later. Immediate thoughts are that the laws of genetics perhaps should be taken over an ensemble of DNA molecules in which case the no. of component atoms doesn't matter.
