Les Peintres de la Foret de Soignes 1850-1950 - Emmanuel Van de Putte This is the catalogue for the exhibition of the same name at the Musee d'Ixelles in Brussels - it is bi-lingual French/Flemish. The Foret de Soignes begins on the edge of Brussels itself. The book deserves four stars simply for reproducing such an excellent set of landscape paintings in such high quality in one book. If I ever learn enough French I'll report back on the text.
